M Barnes Trailer Hire Ltd, hire terms and conditions are outlined in all hire agreements prior to the hire or collection of a trailer.
Please take your time read these carefully before signing, all paperwork will be completed under supervision and CCTV. All pre hire checks and off hire checks will be carried out under supervision and on CCTV.
Please make a member of staff aware of any help requirements upon booking these may include:
- Access requirements
- Struggle with reading or writing, assistance can be given.
- Given basic operating instructions of equipment and lashings. Although M Barnes Trailer Hire Ltd will not be held accountable for any claim whatsoever while in your Possession / Care / Use.
M Barnes Recovery
- Vehicles will not be unloaded prior to payment unless payment terms are authorised prior to collection.
- Failure to make payment within 15 minutes of arrival will result in "Rejected Delivery", this will result in the vehicle / collected item being returned to our compound. Return to base & storage charges will be added to any outstanding charges.
- All our recovery vehicles are equipped with card machines. Payment over the phone to our office is optional including Bacs. All Bacs payments must be cleared prior to delivery. Our accounts department only work 7.30 - 5pm Monday - Friday
- No vehicles will be released from our compound until all charges are paid in full
- If you cancel any claim or have one refused to pay, you will be liable for all charges
- Redelivery will only be arranged once all charges are paid including the redelivery fee
- Vehicles held in storage for 90 days require payment unless previously arranged, failure to do so will result in disposal, all outstanding charges will still be due.
- 90 days disposal notice is given automatically once a vehicle / item enters our compound. It is the owners / Keeper's full responsibility to prearrange otherwise.
Please be aware our business operates Heavy Machinery / Plant. Our premises are full operational at all times.
The correct PPE is required before access. Access is only granted to the office, located at the entrance. Failure to follow any guidelines will void any claim.
You may be asked to leave our premises if you do not follow these guidelines.
